Students will be taught the essential techniques of different martial arts styles, including muay thai, boxing, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu. Through focused technical exercises and live practice scenarios, participants will grasp the core moves utilized in MMA. Be prepared to pair up and work up a sweat.

Our MMA classes combine techniques from various disciplines like boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), and wrestling to create a complete combat system. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills, our classes offer a progressive approach to mastering MMA.
Warm-Up: Begin with cardio, mobility drills, and dynamic stretching to prepare your body for the session. This includes shadow boxing, footwork drills, and grappling movements.
Striking Techniques: Focus on striking combinations using punches, kicks, elbows, and knees from boxing and Muay Thai. Students practice offensive and defensive maneuvers, improving hand speed, accuracy, and footwork.
Grappling & Takedowns:
Learn the fundamentals of wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Work on takedowns, throws, and how to defend against them. Beginners will focus on basic positions, while advanced students will apply these in live drills.
Submission Techniques:
Explore submissions like armbars, triangles, and chokes from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Drill submissions and escapes with a partner, emphasizing leverage and technique.
Ending Exhaustion Drill: Finish the class with an intense, high-energy drill designed to push your limits. This may include combinations of bag work, ground-and-pound, sprawls, and sprints. The goal is to build endurance and mental toughness, ensuring you're prepared for the demands of an MMA fight.

If you are ready to put some stress into your training. You can join our Fight Club sessions. Here you will train with more advanced students in a safe environment. Don't worry, if you are not ready you don't have to join.
This session is just for advanced students and will be on invitation only.

Steve is a Bay Area personal trainer and nutritional consultant with expertise in martial arts, pilates, weight training, and conditioning. He has been shaping and rehabilitating bodies in San Francisco since the early 2000s, holding a black belt from the 10th planet and training with top fighters in the city.
